JEW-EL Ring Size Guide

How to Measure Your Ring Size

Finding the perfect fit is essential when buying a ring. To help ensure you order the correct size, we’ve put together a simple guide to measure your ring size at home. You can use these methods to find your size easily, whether you have a ring that fits or not.

Method 1: Measure Your Finger

  • Wrap a String or Paper Strip Around Your Finger

Take a piece of string, dental floss, or a strip of paper, and wrap it snugly around the base of your finger (the part where you want the ring to sit). Make sure it's not too tight, but also not loose. You should be able to slide it over your knuckle without difficulty.
  • Mark the Spot

Mark the point where the string or paper overlaps, then remove it from your finger.
  • Measure the Length

Use a ruler to measure the length of the string or paper strip, in millimeters. This is your finger's circumference.
  • Find Your Size

Compare your measurement with the ring size chart below. The circumference measurement will correspond to a specific ring size.

Method 2: Use a Ring You Already Own

  • Find a Ring That Fits

Choose a ring that fits comfortably on the finger where you want to wear your new ring.
  • Measure the Inner Diameter

Place the ring on a flat surface, and measure the inner diameter of the ring (across the widest part of the inside). Use a ruler with millimeter measurements for accuracy.
  • Find Your Size

Compare the inner diameter measurement with the chart below to determine your size.

    HELPFUL TIPS

    • Measure at the Right Time: Fingers can swell during the day, especially in the heat. We recommend measuring your finger at the end of the day when it's most likely to be at its largest.
    • Consider Knuckle Size: If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, you may want to choose a slightly larger size to ensure the ring can comfortably slide over your knuckle.
    • Ring Fit: Keep in mind that comfort fit rings (those with a rounded interior) may fit slightly differently than standard fit rings (with a flat interior).
